Each week Snapshot Science collects together five of the most interesting, and relevant to KS4-5 school science, news stories of the past week.  Each story has  QR code and URL, which will send students to the news story, and a question to get them thinking.

Also, every month you will be able to download a Junior Newsletter for KS2-3.

I would love to hear how you use them in your classroom and anything else you think might be added to make them more useful.

The archive of newsletters from the past few months is listed below.

These are great, especially the QR codes, getting the kids to use their phones for something useful in school. I keep these on our display board in the corridor. I do print the articles for children who do not have phones as well.

Thanks Stephen. Sorry about the long wait for the next edition. My ‘real’ job got in the way for a while! I agree that mobile phones and other mobile devices are very useful in school – it’s a pity that the students are banned from using them in some.
