Beautiful physics
This video shows an interesting merge of physics and make-up which might just be the hook you need to get certain individuals in your class interested in science (you know who they are!).
Teaching ideas
Ask the students to create another voice-over for the advert which explains how the nail varnish works in more scientific detail.
Ask them to predict the shape of the magnetic field of the magnet in the lid.
Discuss other beauty/magnets crossovers: magnetic earrings, and the possibility of creating removable tattoos using magnetic ink.
